The network

Welcome to the website of the state association for the networking of foundations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. We want to promote the development of foundations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. We work as a network for all tax-privileged foundations that are based in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, regardless of their legal form. We want to use it to promote their work and projects that are to be implemented in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. We also want to make a contribution to further training on topics relevant to the foundation, in particular through seminars and other events.

We thus promote civic engagement for all non-profit or charitable purposes in the field of foundations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in particular purposes according to § 52 paragraph 2 numbers 1 to 26 of the tax code in the currently applicable version.
 

In order to pursue the purpose, the state association wants to work in particular to ensure that

1. the exchange of information and cooperation within the foundation sector – e.g. B. through foundation days and internet platforms - are organized and promoted,
2. the media and the general public become more aware of the importance and work of foundations in the state of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania,
3. representing the interests of foundations in politics and working together with politicians to look for ways to promote foundations,
4. there is general advertising for endowments, endowments and donations in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and
5. the regional association of willing foundations is available as a contact for initial orientation.

As a state association, the state network of foundations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is non-partisan and non-denominational. The national association and its members work on the basis of the free-democratic basic order.”
